What does mean " day one"?
do you often use it?
is it bussiness term?
what case do you use it .
I am not sure.it is true that an easy word is difficult for me.

It means the "first day" or "The very beginning"

It means from the first day. It can be used in business conversation, but is really more casual. If you wanted to say that you believed that a failed business idea would never had worked you would say "I had my doubts about that idea from day 1" meaning you never believed it would work from the first discussion of the plan.

It just means the first day of something.

For instance, if I was telling a friend how I never got along with a coworker from the first day we started working together, I might say "From day one, that guy got on my nerves!". Or if I was telling my friend about a diet I was on, I might say "I have been starving from day one!".

Day one is used to signify the start or effectivity of anything, but applied mostly to start of a project, a program, an agreement or a contract.

"day one" can be used in many ways....For example "start studying for your exams from the day one" which means one should not waste anytime an start studying...Taking another example "today is the day one for abc project" which means there is some project that has to be or has been started today.....thats all i can think in this context....
