When the church is caught off the earth when the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the clouds, all the people that are left will be lost. 2 Thessalonians 2: 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2: 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2 Thessalonians 2: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Those people will take the mark of the beast so they can get something to eat.

No, because I will not be here when people will have to take the mark in order to buy or sell anything, I will have been raptured, along with all the saved to Heaven when Jesus comes and meets us in the air. The saved will not be on earth during the 7 yr Tribulation period. People left behind will either have to take the mark or many will be martyrd or die of starvation, etc. And yes, the antichrist will lure them with things if they take the mark. But once you take the mark of the beast, there's NO turning back to God, you've damned your soul to hell forever. So, wouldn't life be so much better IF you avoid the Tribulation period and get saved if you are not. I read where atheists talk about partying with other atheists without fear, but the Tribulation will not be a party time! Read about all the judgements in those 7 yrs! It's the foreshadow of hell itself. Read Revelation. I wouldn't take the mark NO MATTER WHAT if I had to be here.

My guess is that you don't have any idea what the Mark of the Beast is.
Accepting the mark either in your forehead or in you right hand is not taking the mark literary.
In your forehead means that you already are marked if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and been forgiven of your sins.
In your right hand means that you are already doing the work of Satan long before he comes in the disguise of Jesus Christ.
It make no difference what you have or do not have. What does is the choice you make before Satan arrives.><>

The mark of the beast is actually 661. The UPC code has three 6s incorporated into many items. Check out this on a Google search. The social security card is the mark of the beast as is every bit of American currency.
Where can I sign up?? If I get all that I know god is looking out for me through the devil or beasty boys or whatever.

Just because of the Biblical warning in Revelations I personally would not. It's because a mad man or men zealous of political control over the lives of their fellow man will be corrupted by the power of it. A man under the control of Satan will be at the head and cause many Christians to be killed because they will not take the mark of the beast.

this stuff makes me glad I am atheist. in my world a euro is a euro and a dollar is a dollar. john was a crazy man on the run from rome. everything he said in his revelation was about rome. it has nothing to do with today or tomorrow. it took rome almost 100 years to decide if the book of revelation fit into the new religion they invented. they would add the book then they would remove it. why? you might ask. the slaughter of the jews and the burning of the temple was still to sore. this book described it to well. john was living in the end time. he expected to see messiah at anytime. it was only in 1824 that someone got the bright idea. this book is about the future.

I believe biblically that I will be raptured before this happens. It says that God will give people a spirit of confusion that they will believe the lie. I don't know if the mark goes on the forehead. It may just be a small device planted in the arm. Nevertheless, many people will get it.

No Way do not take it, I wouldn't.
By taking the mark of the beast on your right hand or your forehead, you in other words sign your life away to satan to be with him in the lake of fire for eternity.
In the Bible it clearly states that whoever will take that mark they will be in the lake of fire forever.
Please people, when time comes to that, do NOT take it no matter what.

i agree 100% with the person above me. All that junk is temporary. accepting the mark of the beast is like accepting a first class ticket to hell.

if you want to know the answer to that question look in the bible where it clearly states that you must worship the beast before you can receive his mark.
