Well your best bet would be to look in its manual or to just call Daisy and ask their operator. If it does shoot pellets then you load it by putting the pointed end into the gun so the pointed end isthe first part that leaves the gun when its shot.

Pellets are far more accurate than bb's. Reason being is that bb's are shot from a smooth bore barrel, pellets are shot from a rifled barrel. A rifled barrel has "grooves" cut into it, giving a twist to it, like a firearm barrel. What this does is it gives the pellet a spiral, like a football being thrown. A bb is shot from a smooth bore. The reason for this is, a bb is steel and it would ware down the rifling in a rifled barrel. Some air guns can shoot bb's and pellets, but after a while the rifling is almost non existant. All air guns that can shoot both, are cheap. Most under a 120.00.

Anything that will shoot BB's will fire a .177 pellet....they're both the same caliber....but the question is "is it designed to?" In this case, no.
If it were designed for pellets, it would either have an open breech that you could stick a pellet into or some sort of magazine that would hold them. In this case, if you can't fit one into the little magazine that came with it, don't try to use it.
If you're ever stuck on a desert island....and anytime you hear that line, you know that what comes next is bullshit so be warned lol....you can slip a pellet down the barrel with a thin ramrod and yes, it will fire one.

It's been years since my brother's and I shot our BB gun. I would have to say though, that unless they have changed a bunch (could be since it was over 30 years ago) you should find a hole at the top of the barrel near the trigger where you load your bb's. I don't believe you should put pellets in a bb gun.
Have you tried to do a Google search on Daisy Airguns. And if it's an air bun, are you sure it's a bb gun. Our air gun was a pellet gun.
Didn't it come with an instruction manuel? Follow what it says and don't deviate or you might destroy your gun or, worse, hurt yourself.
You might consider reading up on proper gun safety as well. I know it's a bb gun, but you can harm yourself with the thing. My husband has bb shot in his leg to this day...and that happened well over 20 years ago. There have been cases of kids losing an eye to a bb as well...not a joke.
If you look up the NRA...I think they may have courses for beginners..even for bb guns. Not absolutely sure about that but it's worth a try. They have lots of programs for kids at any rate. It would be worthwhile to learn as much as possible about your weapon before you go out and use it.
And I hope you use my dad's rule he gave us...if you shoot it you have to eat it. We weren't allowed to kill critters at random because it's cruel. We literally had to eat anything we killed.
Treat the thing with respect. It's a bb gun, but it's still a weapon. Have fun.

I own a Daisy 15XT, which is similar to the 693. It has a clip that pops out of the handle, which holds your C02 Cartridge and your BBs. Push the button on the left side of the gun in front of the handle to take out the clip. It will only shoot BB's, so don't think about using pellets. Hope this helps.

The 693 is a bb only gun. Don't try and put pellet down the barrel either. The gun dosen't have the power to push it back out.

BBs and .177 caliber pellets are the same diameter, but the gun needs to be designed to shoot pellets.
BB guns are usually smoothbore and pellet guns have a rifled barrel.

Okay, I know what pistol you are talking about and it only shoots BBs from a 15rd. drop in clip. Do NOT fire pellets from it. Just because they might fit, doesn't mean they were meant to be fired. It will be unsafe for the gun and more importantly for you to do so. This is a fairly powerful pistol, be responsible with it.

there are some airguns that shoot copper bbs only and some that shoot copper bbs and pellets. if yours doesn't have a place for a pellet i suggest u don't try to use pellets. try to look at the handbook or the manual.
