Don't mess with your body that way. Especially at your age. They may be FDA approved but they are bad for the heart overall. They mess with the bodies natural system too. Please just eat right and exercise. Get some good advise from the school coach. They know what you need to do.
Good Luck!

Even do they are FDA approve...some may put an strain in your kidneys, because of the high protein most of the mixes have. At your age, you will have to consider also if you have all ready reach full puberty, because men then to develop more muscle during their puberty years.
A combination of exercise+weight gain intended diet+a small amount of this mixes should help you.

There isn't much of a risk when you take those supplements. There are some pretty good ones out there. You just need to make sure that you have a good workout and that you also have a good diet. There are a lot of weight gainers out there. a good rule of thumb is to go into a supplement store around your area and ask some of the people there what you should be taking. They will probably ask you what kind of routine you have and what kind of food you are eating they will be able to give you a more personal plan that will help you achieve your goal.

It probably is safe but, you don't need to take it at 14 just eat like a horse, but clean. You need to eat meat, chicken, turkey, fish, eggs. and good carbs like potatoes yams brown rice beans and such. An added risk is that some supplement companies "spike" their products with things that a 14 shouldent take so if you so decide to take them, go with a reputable companie.and train like an animal either way. good luck!!!!!!
