well, it might be... or maybe she really is just curious since she is going through almost the same thing.

That's a tough one. Dental assistants will chat on on on about pretty personal stuff, so that alone is not enough to go on. You also don't usually look your best while in the dentist chair, so it is hard to know if a girl would find a guy attractive while staring at their teeth. But it is worth a chance. What's the worst that could happen?

hmm..........not sure exactly how that whole conversation panned out but yes, I would say she was giving you a hint. She may not wish to call it that as she says, she thinks she is just being curious. I think the question is 'are you interested?' and if so what are you interested in? A one night stand? friendship or relationship? You have both just broken up from relationships so whatever you do take it easy.

It sounds like she was just making conversation. Think about it as hanging out with someone you don't see very often. You talk about what little you know about the other person.
Though, if you're interested in her, you should definitely show it. And, if it's a diaster, choose another dentist!

Yeah. That's not the kind of thing you talk about at the dentist, even if you go twice a year.

I guess it really depends on how she said it. If she seemed like she was was sort of happy that your answer was no, then I would definatley say that she is interested, however, if she was just being polite in asking and she didnt seem like she really was interested in your answer, then I would say that she was just asking to be nice. So, in summery, it really all depends on how she reacted to your answer of you not being with your wife anymore. Hope this helps...:)

People who choose health care professions where they work with the public tend to be naturally empathetic and friendly. Well, these kinds of people are attracted to these kinds of jobs. She may or may not be, or the thought didnt even cross her mind.
Just ask her out you have nothing to lose.

give it time. if she keeps asking questions about you and your wife and hints a lot that she just moved out of her ex. then yeah, she's into you.

well if you were married and not anymore now... I believe that you are old enough to "read" hints from other women... I would suggest go for it.... It doesn't hurt asking her out for a drink... worst think that's going to happen is that you wont go out with her...

it sounds like she may have been doing nothing but being polite and trying to present some healthy conversation since that's something that both of you have in common. It may be in your best interests to approach slowly if you decide to "go after her".
