At their introduction to humanity, the message was the same and everyone (the prophets, at least) prayed in the same manner.

The Message:
- Total Submission of mankind to the Almighty

Prayer:
- Ablution before prayer (holy washing)
- No shoes/sandles while praying
- Kneeling
- Bowing
- Prostration (face flat on the ground)

From the definition of Muslim, "one who submits" (to the Almighty), you can say that Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad [peace be upon them] were all Muslim.

*3*
Fasting (abstaining from food and/or drink).

True Christianity is true Judaism. Meaning the old testament spoke of a Messiah. Jesus was this Messiah. So True Christians are followers of Judaism. A careful read of the Old Testament shows that there is no way man can earn God's favor so, true Judaism does not rely on works to achieve heaven either.

Islam has the same patriarch but they believe Ishmael was the chosen son of Abram.

think of of religion like Sci-Fi video clips and sequence. those wherein Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are the famous man or woman Wars universe, yet distinctive followings on the story with distinctive human beings it is centred on. One group believes Sidius to be a good guy uniting the universe on the sacrifice of his image and existence. yet another believes he became a in the present day up undesirable guy and had no genuine relevance previous the plot element the place he died. And the final group thinks the full experience became un-functional and the events taken after it have been much extra thrilling. on an analogous time as distinctive factors of perspectives, it is all the comparable faith.

I don't think that there are any similarities.
Jews don't believe in the written Word of God, they have their oral traditions that make up their religion.

Islam is much of an unknown. They too have their own man made traditions and have forsaken the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.

Christianity is not a religion, but a reality. Its a daily walk with God hand in hand each and everyday.

There are people in the world that call themselves Christians, but they are not. The Same goes for the Jews and the people who follow Islam.

I do hope my answer does help you.><>
