I eat normally (not a starve diet). I just can't let anyone know because they would think I thought I was fat and get all weird. My friend went on a diet and told are friends and they all thought she was crazy. And my parents would freak out. So please, any advice on doing this?

Don't call it a diet. I assume you will be trying to incorporate more fruits & veggies into this "diet." If people ask, just tell them you are trying to eat healthier. In the long term, changing your eating habits for the better will help you keep off the weight you lose anyway.

It's good to go a diet only if you are 20 or more pounds over weight . Some people want to be to thin, you didnotsay that you were over weight . Sound like you maybe already small and dont need to be on a diet. Maybe that is why your other friend got her other friends thinking she is crazy. She must be small also.Good luck and dont get too thin.

Are you overweight, by the charts for your height and age? If you are secretly dieting, that sounds a little like anorexia. You should tell someone what is going on. If your parents would freak out because you want to lose weight, it might mean that you are normal or underweight now.

well this depends......why must it be a secret. if you are a healthy weight for your height and age then you probably dont need to restrict yourself. but if you are concerned about eating healthy.....then more power to you! we all should. eating a balanced diet is never anything to be ashamed. your parents or friends shouldnt give you a hard time as long as you are making healthy choices!!! or just dont tell anyone, and dont eat around your friends. chew gum while they chow! drink crystal light when they go for icecream good luck!

substitute up your cal. intake while you're decrease than 1200 energy so which you dont pass into starvation mode. take supplements drink quite a number of water/tea/coffee etc oh and that i do this pickle concern. 0.5 of a pickle is 5 energy. 2 chocolate turtles (little goodies with carmel, pecans, and chocolate) has one hundred ninety energy. so while i prefer to binge. i think of, nicely i ought to have 2 products of candy. or i ought to have 38 pickles. im no longer saying eat 38 pickles. only think of that eating an apple or a pickle will save you on your weight loss application and fill your abdomen. oh and it may be good to get a e book to log your cal. intake

Try to think of it as not a diet, just eating healthy.. So if anyone bothers you, just be like.. I'm trying to eat healthy now! I hear you, I am/was the same way.

Just don't let anyone know. People love to talk.

Keep a workout calendar of everything you do. It will make you feel good about yourself and keep you motivated by seeing what you have done. Increase something every week or every two week so you are doing more!

your question is confusing. you say you eat normal, but you can't tell anybody. anyone who is around you when you eat is going to tell if you're eating normally or not. the only "secret" I can guess is that you go in and throw up after eating?
If you eat normally, and are normal weight, then I would stop worrying what your friends say.

Why is trying to eat healthy a bad thing? As long as you aren't starving yourself, healthy living is something to be proud of.

NOT a secret!
just..not a big deal!! :D

seriously....not making a big deal or not talking about it at all doesn't make your friends question.

but if you have any concerns..never keep that a secret..tell someone..other than that..don't make a big deal about it.

just make sure you stay as healthy as possible and size therefore does not matter!

:)
