First of all i'm sure half the reason they are republican is because the vast majority of people int he military are. Secondly as an honest non-creepy member of the military i can honestly say a lot of members are shady people. that's why.

Hmmm, where did you get your information as to party affiliation? I've watched the program once and don't think there has been any mention of party affiliation at all. Yes it's true that military has voted majorly republican, because republicans believe in strong defense. Historically the Democrats have voted to reduce the military, cut government spending and increase taxes, which is what they are planning to do since they now control congress again. During the Regan era the military saw the biggest pay increases, and spending on equipment to make our military stronger. During the Democratic controlled congress, they made it law for the BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure Act), always use the threat of holding voting on defense spending to try and get the Democratic agenda pushed through congress. Democrats always play puppet master to our military and our pay checks when in control of congress. This is the biggest reason that majority military will vote for Republicans.
