I suggest a SEDU Iron, it's what I use and I've tried plenty (Chi, Jilbere de Paris, ceramic tools...etc.) I do, however,m LOVE paul brown hawaii styling products, so if you must have one of the two- I'd go with Paul's.

I'd go with the CHI flatiron, any type. Heats up in 10 seconds, and doesn't fry my hair. I love mine.
