If u want to do it urself, wash and blow-dry ur hair...then take a strand of hair and put mousse on it....roll each strand in a sponge roller (u can get these at Wal*Mart or any beauty supply store) but be careful not to put to much hair on each one...let them set for about 3hrs...then take them out.....u'll have curly curls...this is how I do my hair all the time....it's easy.

Are you using a curl-enhancing product and a diffuser? If your hair has some wave to it (mine is the annoying wavy as well), you can usually diffuse it to get some curl in it, and then go through with a curling iron to bump it a little. Also, before you curl the hair, if you spray it first with a water-free hair spray (like Aveda's Air Control) it will help the air to stay more. If you use a hair spray with water in it and then use your curling iron - you can fry your hair that way because you're hair will still be wet (same reason why you don't use a flat iron until your hair is completely dry - Air Control also great for using a flat iron). Another option is to go to a hair salon and get them to do it for you - you can always call and get a price quote. But if you're thinking about going that route, you're going to want to call soon cause they book up quickly around prom time!

disgustingly enogh, if you skip a day of washing your hair, the curls will hold better, but if you must, be sure to mouse mouse mouse! but let you hair be for the day and then mist your hair with hair spray, comb through, use curling iron to curl by layers, i've found the smallers curls the better, my hair is the same way. after each layer, hold hairspray about a foot away and VERY lightly spray. continue with each layer, the thinner the better. Once you have finished, lightly spray all of your hair, don't under spray, it won't hold, but don't over spray, it will weigh it down. Then use your hands to like kind of scrunch your hair, it will fall into a full look, then just leave it alone! Good luck!

get curling iron wax for your hair, the bad thing is that it will make your hair very hard but the curls will look amazing and stay up all night even when you sweat, but the morning after prom make sure you wash your hair out good because your hair will be hard and greasy, but it is worth to have your hair lookin cute for prom

Come on, it's your prom, spend a little extra $$$. Go to a hair salon with your friends, tell the people there the style you like, curly, whatever, and they'll make it for you!

I would go to one f those places that do your nails, hair, make-up, ect. and have them do it. I think it takes a while though.
