A hot pass will get you into the track. No seat but if you have a hot pass then you have the best seat in the house anyways. I was lucky enough to get them one year from a sponsor and it was unreal. Are you sure they are the hot passes and not the cold passes? Hot passes give you full access to pretty much everything besides getting in the car with the drivers. Cold passes allow you in the garages and on pit lane until a certain point, then the garage and pits go "hot" in which case only hot pass holders are allowed to be in there. They usually go hot right before and during qualifying and to a certain point race day and throughout the race. If you have the hot passes though im sure you were already informed of this. Also..DONT FORGET TO WEAR JEANS! They wont let you in no matter what kind of pass you have if you got shorts on.

Hot passes are not for sale. They are given to sponsors, family members, etc. So if you bought them, then they are regular pit passes and you will be disappointed if you are expecting more than that.

Usually a hot pass is access to the garage. In so much as you are already in the infield - my only experience is Talladega - you have to have infield tickets to get there or a back up ticket demonstrating you have admission to the race - with a seat. Hot pass will get you access once you are in, but I figure if you have a hot pass you have already gotten exclusive access that most corporate sponsors tout as entertainment so....not sure if your question is really a valid one.

I'm satisfied-I already heard about what they do, so never signed up for it. TNT isn't much better- one stretch of eight minutes they showed two minutes of racing, when they came back, had to replay a spin out . TNT is ridiculous. Plus, the commentators including Kyle Petty NEVER SHUT UP. It got so bad today I turned the sound off and listened to ESPN on the radio while watching.

The hot pass(or cold pass-garage only) is just the admisson to the garage and pit areas. You still have to have infield or a genreral admisson ticket.

The price of the hotpass includes the ticket to get into the gate.

If you buy a hotpass for any race then you are buying a "pass" for the whole event.
