Like swollen eyes, losing thier voice, and feeling dizzy. Could this happen? and why? My mom ate a huge lobser tail last night and now she is feeling sick today.

She eats fish and stuff all of the time.

Not lobster, but a friend of mine once got sick like your mother after eating some shrimp...which is much the same. If your mother hasnt had this reaction before she isnt allergic. It sounds as if it could be food poisoning to me, seafood goes off really quickly.

The body is very strange..She could be allergic to it..Even if she never was before..
Just as alot of children outgrow allergies..We can become allergic to things as we get older..
And it does sound like she's now allergic to lobster..

Most likely is a bacteria but it is possible to be an allergic reaction to shell fish. Something that a doctor should see.

Yes...alot of people are allgeric to shell fish...it usually requires a trip to the ER room but you can take Benidriyl as well to help

it could just be allergies but it could also be a food borne illness either way you should probably get her to the doctor

milk products or chocolet will make me sick if i eat fish.
maybe that had something to do with it.

But seafood can make you sick if undercooked.

Cooking kills bacterium.
