Even though I initially was repulsed by this idea - because after all why should I pay for them? - I thought more about it and now I have to say "Yes, we should."

Many illegal immigrants are poor (thus they come here) so they cannot provide medical aid for themselves. Whent hey get sick, they just let it be, ignore it, and keep on doing their jobs. That not only endangers their life, it endangers our life. Let's say they have some contagious disease and they're working around us. We have such a high chance of getting that disease and then we may die too. So if we had provided them with the medical aid, we would have been atleast prevented from getting that disease.

Additionally, it's also a moral issue where you would not want a person (or many persons) to die because of a money issue.

What's your input on it?

No we should not provide medicare or any form of government aids to the illegal immigrants. Those fund are being contribute to by the Tax Payer Dollars - US Citizen as well as the legal immigrants. As illegal immigrants they do not contribute a single penny to the systems and they want it for free? However, against it I might...I would not be suprise it going to happen soon and they will receive all the same benefits as the legal immigrants and US Citizens.

No, of course not. Most people would not agree to this. Our country simply could not afford something of this nature. In an ideal world everyone would receive good healthcare, but this simply cannot be the burden of the USA taxpayers. I work WAY too hard to provide for my own family (over $600 a month for insurance!) to be okay with footing the bill for others. Nobody has the right (especially those who aren't even citizens!) to demand that I give them my hard earned money for their healthcare.

What does it matter, though. They walk into our hospitals and take it anyways!

Its bad enough it takes months for an U.S. Citizen to receive Medicaid, and with all the illegals applying it just slows the system down even more.

no. American citizens pay to much taxes already as it is. why should we pay more to take care of people who are not legal. i remember being homeless with 3 lids. my husband and i split up. NO one helped me. i had to get on my feet by my self and make sure my kids had what they needed. NO, i will not pay more taxes for some one who is not legal. i didn't get free hand outs from the govt. i was put on a waiting list for govt housing for a year and half when they finally called and said they had an apartment for me. by that time i was back on mt feet.

No. If you are illegal, then you should not be eligible for any kind of government assistance. If ever there came a day that not one legal US citizen wanted for food or proper healthcare, only then should it be offered to any one else.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! They shouldn't receive any free benefits. They aren't even supposed to be in this country. If anyone should be getting Medicaid it should be legal citizens - especially veterans.

If they need care -yes.But as they are ILLEGAL they should then be deported back to their nation.
That is why they are called ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. They are here illegally.Easy to understand One would think.Denying needed care is inhumane -but that doesn't mean they could/should be allowed to remain.

No, except for emergency aid prior to deportation once stabalized - because it is the humanitarian thing to do.

However, our own costs are skyrocketing, our own sick can't get adequate care, and this would encourage more illegals to come and stay.

This is the same question in which people give the same stupid answer to "SEND THEM BACK TO MEXICO!" I am sure that the idiots that answered that are willing to pick strawberry's for 2.50 an hour! HYPOCRITES, they say that we should send them back, and they turn around and pay them half of minimum wage to mow their yard. There should be a national health care plan for all us citizens anyway. Don't forget that we STOLE, STOLE, STOLE this country from the Indians anyway.
