can i use the smooth'n shine hair polisher before straightening my hair? and is the product good?

I take a shower and blow dry my hair before i straighten. My blow drer is Conair and it has a shine gadget thing that is good for your hair.

what does it say on the tin????? im not sure about this product as i just use tresemme it works wonders
