After 13 years my family decided to leave the LDS church we attended and look for another one. We went to a few that were nice, but they didn't feel right. The first time we went to our current church it felt right. The pastor read from the Bible. My son said that he felt like he learned more about God here than he ever did in the LDS church. I know the LDS will give me thumbs down for my comments, and that's ok. We are where we belong now. We are happy, and my child are learning about God.

I was born into a Roman Catholic family, but my sister joined the LDS church when I was about 8, and her example led me to do the same thing. I was baptised in December.... I stay, because I feel that I'm in the right church, but honestly, I havent had much time to test the waters yet... but I wont be leaving, I know that for a certain.

When I came back to God I asked a friend for suggestions. I told her that I was looking for a church that cared about the community and welcomed everybody. She suggested the church I eventually joined.
I stayed because I think that pastor is very knowledgeable and truly teaches the message of Christ. I always learn from his sermons and leave feeling uplifted and closer to Christ.

my wife found it as a teenager and God lead us there as a couple and now as a family- recently we moved and could go to another church around the corner but instead we stuck with this one and drive 30min one way to get there - its worth it when you find the right place
what made us stay
I guess the people and the activities they have for every age group and all interests - they provide ways to give back to the community near by, in other parts of the country and oversea - and I also have to say I love the Bible study groups they provide on Sundays - so much to chose from and a new session every 4 months with new topics - from a Biblical study of one book to how God wants us to view and use our finances and another on learning about our personal strengths for better serving God another about how to raise kids in a difficult world with Biblical principals - there are lots of reasons I guess

I was pratically raised in my church, but most ppl just visit different churches in their area, or ask friends and family about their churches. Every church is different, it all depends on what you are looking for.

i was acctually born into my church, but the thing that made me doupt not was the Spirit, the truth that manifested itself inside of me. Mormon. Its true. give me a thumps down if you must, but we will all see in due time, and i wish you the best when that time comes. i am NOT speaking threateningly, but softly and conforting.
