If you are with someone who doesn't appear shy and all of a sudden they get shy and blush, why would someone say they're cute?

when a person who isn't usually shy, and suddenly becomes shy and blushes, u know u hit their soft spot.
that is a good sign, and that's why it's cute!
also, blushing gives one a nice color, don't u think? :)

Because we're omnivores and hunters by nature. Seeing someone that does this attracts our inner hunter and we view that person as weak or even prey (subconcious).
Thus we are attracted by deep, inner insticts more than anything and it is translated to us as attraction orthinking something is cute since it attracts us.

because they are expressing their feelings. they are showing their inner person. or maybe they have a crush on you and they don't want you to know it. or maybe they like someone who said they were cute!
