what's it like a year later? if i take it out, will i have a permanent hole in my skin?
will simply bumping up against something turn you on more with the piercing, than it would without?

The piercing is usually done in a smaller gauge (like a 16) so it'll leave a very tiny scar. It'll close up in time, though it really wouldn't matter if it didn't since it is in the self cleaning part of your body.
All those myths about your piercing causing major changes in your sex drive are just that--myths. Yes it helps with clitoral play, but how many times do you bump into things just right to hit the clit in a pleasurable way? Getting a piercing doesn't change that. What it does change is any kind of fellatio and masturbation.
The pain is minimal (probably my least painful piercing ever) and it can be quite fun. If you tend to reject easily, keep that in mind since it is a surface piercing.

This piercing should be done NO smaller than 14g to reduce the risk for rejection and problems during healing.
Generally the piercing increases feelings due to the movement and rubbing of the jewelry, however, for some people (such as myself) the constant rubbing decreases feelings and numbs the area. Usually damage is temporary and feeling returns upon removal and healing of the jewelry.
If the piercing is done by a skilled and reputable artist and heals without severe trauma or problems, once the jewelry is removed the area will heal and there should be no damage and minimal scarring but the hole will close up fully, you'll just need to allow your body time to heal.
Its really up to you if you get the piercing. While I love them, it just didn't work out well for me, though I might try again. If you decide to go for it, have it done by a professional piercer and take care of it. Good luck.

no, the ring itself is such a small gauge that that it will close up and the skin will tighten back up to normal when you take it out. they are not very painful peircings to get, because they are not many nerves in the hood.

ugh in my opinion that is the most repulsive thing/ idea ive ever heard of. you probably will have a hole there a year later tho. and it will prob make you LESS horny than without bcuz its poking a hole through your clit, making it's performance less [for lack of a better word] good.
