The only antibiotic ingredients available OTC are berberine, which is not used in North America (goldenseal contains it but only the extracted chemical berberine has been tested and is known to be safe in the eyes), or boric acid which is not sufficient to cure an infection on its own, though it can help relieve itching and other symptoms. You can look at the ingredients of various products to find one with boric acid, it's in alot of saline eyedrops and such... If you have pinkeye it won't hurt to use them and see if the infection goes away on its own, even if it is bacterial usually it will go away in a week and is almost never serious. If it doesn't go away then you need to see a doctor, because no good antibiotics are available without a prescription.

Also, if it's an infection of the eyeball itself other than pinkeye/conjunctivitis, look up the symptoms and make sure it's not something serious before trying to treat it yourself! If there's any pain in the iris for example when the pupils shrink in the light, see a doctor!

You can't buy antibiotic eye drops otc (over the counter). How do you know you have a minor infection? That should be diagnosed by a doctor.
If your eyes are red and itchy, possibly from allergies or eye strain, you can buy lubricating eye drops at any drug store and insert them 3 times a day.
If you think you have an infection, you need to see a doctor who will prescribe what you need specifically to treat your condition.

Eye infections hurt so much, but unfortunately you need a prescription for an antibiotic. Sometimes painful eyes can be caused by allergies or just irritants in the air. My mom has sucessfully helped painful eyes with normal eye drops, even when she thought she had an infection. I would still recommend seeing a Dr. if you suspect an infection, eye infections can be dangerous and easily spread.

I would look on WebMD or another reliable souce and gather information on the symptoms of an eye infection.

Wish you well!

You will almost certainly need a prescription from an MD, ARNP, or PA in order to get antibiotic eye drops. Once you have that, ant pharmacy can help you.
Some common ones that I give to my patients include Tobramycin, Gatifloxacin, and Moxifloxacin.

You need and RX from a doctor to get antibiotic drops. If you want one for rwetting the eye there are alot of good ones you can buy over the counter, you can usually find them in your pharmacy around the contact lens supplies!

You can only get antibiotic drops with a prescription. If you have an infection (Pink eye ?) this is highly contagious. I would suggest you see an eye doctor.

Based on buying experience, before you buy any medication from an online pharmacy you should consider doing some inquiry on the company first. You only get inadequate information from those pharmacies that can't be trusted. You should be able to get enough and convincing information after searching from search engines such as Google and from lists of legit directory of Pharmacies. As those that get defrauded commonly release something over the internet to warn others. You need to find comfort from trusting an online pharmacy before placing an order. Follow pharmacies that are accredited by the VIPPS or Vet-VIPPS programs without prescription.

This should be a prescribed medicine. I certainly wouldn't want to chance an OTC in my eye.
