well if he's expressed feelings for you, that's more than just 'flirting with other girls.'
tell him that you like him, too!
just be like "hey ____, I kind of have wanted to tell you this, but I really like you, more than friends. you're a great guy, ___, _____, ____, (fill in the blanks with good characteristic traits), and I admire you for that"
something along the lines of that =D
that'll win him over anyday.
[making him feel good about himself, AND giving him something to brag about to his friends]
