...were not invented or discovered???
if god sends things to us, if he rewards and punishes why would dare anyone look for a way of curing diseases (sent by god) or lighten up dark places, had god wanted us to live in light he would have created us with a lamp in our forehead...

Seeing as how the people who were around when those things were being discovered and developed went to church I don't think that your question is a valid one.

The discovery of penicillin is usually attributed to Scottish scientist Sir Alexander Fleming in 1928, though others had earlier noted the antibacterial effects of Penicillium. Fleming, at his laboratory in St. Mary's Hospital (now one of Imperial College teaching hospitals) in London, noticed a halo of inhibition of bacterial growth around a contaminant blue-green mold on a Staphylococcus plate culture.

Notice that he was at "St Mary's" Hospital.

I definitly believe that even if the Christian God exists, He doesn't expect everyone to be a Christian and wouldn't send them to hell for not being one. We need diversity on this planet- it's a reflection of us as beings- diverse, the way we were made according to Christianity.
