so i was talking to my boyfriend and he ment to say something nice about me but called me his ex's name does that mean anything?

No! it doesn't mean a thing......his ex has obviously been around for a while, we are creatures of habit.....it's habit to say her name. means absolutely nothing at all honey.......Gosh, I often just caught myself from saying my ex's name while talking to my now husband & I would never have returned to my ex & certainly never wanted to either.
I was nearly saying my ex's name like 3 years after we split, but I'd not had a b/f in between so using a name in this situation [dating] had last been used with ex, so in similar situation obviously my mind was acting in habit mode, that's all it was...........
you have nothing to be worried about, not if it's like my situation anyhow........

How long have you been together? When did they break up? If it has been less than a month I would just forget about it. But if you have been with him say about 3 months then I would be a bit suspicious (spelling might be wrong). But that is me. My mind works weird when it come to boys. I would take a look at the situation. It could just be that the two of you were recently talking about her or maybe had talked about his ex with one of his friends.
Ask him why? Or just ignore it and if he does it again then start an arguement.

Most of the time it really doesnt mean anything when a guy says another gurls name and it could of just been a mistake, but in other cases *depending on the guy* it could of meant alot. But just to be on the safe side *Since he is ur bf* dnt think too much into it because u dnt want to freak him out and if it happens to come up again, you could either ask him about it or just let it go *for one more run*.

yes, it means he is still thinking about his ex. Depends on how he said it. If he was with her for a long time then it happens, if not then find out more.

That means he was thinking abut his ex girlfriend when he was trying to say some thing nice about you. that's mess up he was thinking about ex when he.s with you.I would wanna broke up with him If I was you.

he was thinking about her at the time... and he may still be thinking about her... better ask him about it... if he still hs feelings for his ex
