my son is included when my bf plans with whom his son spends the hours of the weekend with? My bf just told his parents that his son will be with them while he's at work. I asked how about my son spend a couple of hours of that day w/ his son, and he said he'll have to check with his parents first so that he won't ruin any plan they made with his son.
We've been together for four years. The boys get along great. I understand that the grandparents only get to see the kids every other weekend, but still, shouldn't my bf have asked to see if my son wants to hang out with his son for a few hours first before committing the whole day to the grandparents then now he has to ask them if it'll be a problem?
Even if they say it wouldn't be a prob, I'd feel bad b/c I feel I'll be taking hours of their son's time away from them.

Don't stress yourself, he's just making sure that all goes well. It's always good to just double check to make sure if any new plans need to made... and example, what if the Grandparents were taking the son to the amusement park, then he's have to check with the grand parents to arrange for your son to get a ticket.. Just stuff like that. Good Luck!
