Tobacco by far. Tobacco is addictive. Marijuana is not. People tend to smoke a lot more tobacco, and often a pack a day. I do not know anyone that smokes that much marijuana. Marijuana actually has health benefits. Tobacco does not.

People also tend to believe the (false) health warnings when it comes to weed... those same people might smoke a cig.

Because you are awesome...I thought I'd answer another one of your questions....

Take it from someone who has been a long time user of both (about 10 years.) Try and steer clear of both. While marijuana probably will not cause any major health problems, it is illegal for now, and you can ruin your career chances if you get caught with even a small amount. If the devil exists, tobacco came straight from hell. It is next to impossible to break the addiction. I could go on and on about the health implications, but I'm sure you hear all that in school. I will tell you, smoking that first cigarette was the worst mistake I have made in my entire life.

On the other hand, people who smoke tobacco don't become obsessed with it to the point where they talk about it all the time, base their entire lives on getting it, and spend all their rent money on it, and then complain to their roommates about how they have no money even though they spent it all on weed... >_<

So for health reasons, tobacco is worse. But as it effects someone's everyday life, marijuana is worse because people get way more addicted to it as a lifestyle, and it's much more expensive. It also makes people think their poetry is actually good... Hint: If you wrote it, drew it or painted it while high, it's NOT as good as you thought it was at the time, trust me.

I dont know why these these people say marijuana is good because its not. niether is. Smoking causes cancer, lung problems. Marijuana also causes lung problems but only few have gotten cancer from smoking mari, so thats still being studied on that issue. Marijuana has been proven to lower brain cells and cause thinking and problem solving issues. It also has made some people with certain DNA become totally dumb while it doesnt affect others. All in all, both are bad. like the one guy puts it, hit by a car or a truck. Both are bad.

Tobacco, solely because it the extremely high rates of death from lung disease and heart disease as a secondary cause (smoking increases the risk of arteriosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries)

I'd say avoid both. But one is a lot worse than the other.

Healthwise, tobacco. While non-productive and demanding, the marijuana inhaler still keeps their health.

Which is worst : getting killed by a speeding car or getting killed by a speeding truck ? If your asking this to support marijuana use then you need to ask a different question because neither one is good for your health.

One joint equals about seven cigarettes in terms of chemicals released by the burning. Bad s**t man. There are no safe levels of either when you get down to the nitty gritty.
