Of course, not! If you're 5'3 and 340 lbs, that's already obese. Do you fit in that description, or do you really think you're like that?

I stand 5 ft 6 in and weigh 115 lbs and I'm not skinny either (nor I am fat). I guess that if you're beyond 140, then that's already too much unless you're body is naturally like that. And I am scared if you weigh 340 lbs because that is already way, way too much.

Maybe you should lose a lot of weight. But I am not advising you to starve for several days or eat lettuce only or replace all of your foods with "fat-free" options. You should definitely talk to a doctor, a dietitian and a nutritionist first. Also, you should exercise but in an advice of a fitness instructor, of course. And also, try to lose weight with a flow, because it would cause a lot of problems if you suddenly take a treadmill for 2 hours straight and eat a sugar-free biscuit a day if you know you can't do it.

(Oh by the way, if that's not you who is 5'3 and 340 lbs and it's just another person, or if you're just curious about it, I am telling you that 340 lbs is really too much for anyone.)

i would not be comfortable at that weight and height because i would not have freedom of movement (i used to be 80 lbs heavier than i am now and had less freedom of movement).
freedom of movement is very important to me because i am a dancer.
