I was given laughing gas to have a piece of tooth removed, done it before for cavities. this time I actually went into a deep sleep and everything spinning and heard conversations from myday and the heart machine beep. it all stopped and I saw white. It was very bright and I was having a conversation with someone but was not talking, it was just thinking. They told me nothing matters back there (I think they meant life or the world) and I was like "oh my gosh, your right, it doesnt." then I was like "no, my boyfriend, where is he?" I couldnt find him and kept saying his name, then everything that had happened up to that point seemed to rewind and everything was spinning again.
I finally came to and heard my name over and over and the machine again. But no one was there with me then the dr. came and I asked her if she was done and she said they hadnt started yet. I was crying because I thought I saw heaven.
Do you think I was just really out of it or could it be I saw heaven?

I am catholic and the feeling I got when having the conversation and looking into the white light felt amazing. It really was like nothing mattered. I felt really old and saw myself as an imature child not knowing so many things.

Here is what i know for sure

It is unlikely that you actually physically died because there would have been a lot more commotion from the dr. and nurses. Also someone would have told you about the complications at some point because you would need to know that you had a reaction to the nitrous oxide for future reference.

When you rid your mind of all the clutter and focus on your heart, you can receive messages that sometimes feel like a conversation that isnt being spoken. There are people who can practice and do this on purpose. But it also happens to people when they are not trying to make it happen. sometimes the energy is just right and it happens.

What matters is what you come away with from the experience you had. What does it mean for you since you had this experience, how does it change your life or not change it?

Best of luck to you.

The first time I passed out (I had just given blood) I had a very memorable experience. First I thought that I had just woken up from a dream in which I was in a very large, white room with people all in white hovering over me, and then I was flying through space - only the stars were all sorts of colors, and I could feel them brush my face as I roared by. I still remember the sound.
Then I opened my eyes, and I was back in the large white room - which, as it turned out, was my school gym, and the people in white hovering over me were the nurses taking care of me.
So, it's possible to retain some form of memory/consciousness when you're unconscious - your brain just supplies the experience.

I think you were just out of it, but either way hopefully it will help change your life for the better. I'd say the larger effect it has on your life and the life of others, the closer to you were to seeing heaven :)

You being given a hallucinogen, what do you think? As an aside, heart monitors don't just stop making noise when your heart stops, they issue a very loud, constant alarm.

They pass to the following gap within the flooring like we do! Ecclesiastes three:19 (NIV) Man's destiny is like that of the animals; the identical destiny awaits them each: As one dies, so dies the opposite. All have the identical breath; guy has no talents over the animal. Everything is self-importance* (*and BIG BUSINESS for the Clergy!)

That's why they call it laughing gas (nitrous oxide).
The effects as I recall are similar to hyper-ventilating. I believe your experience was purely subjective and nothing supernatural.

You were probably dying and your brain was random firing. Or the gas was messing with your head.
