You don't. Doesn't matter who you are or what you do, if you get hit solid on the point of the chin, your going down.

Your best bet is to train youself defensively so the you block punches better, or slip the shots instead of taking them flush. Your not going to significantly improve your chin, you either have a "beard" or a "glass jaw" but either way, you take a shot on the point of the chin, your going down.

Step one: Raise funds to the amount of approximately 1500$ US.

Step two: book a flight to northern India

Step three: Walk up to a common large marketplace.

Step four: Buy a pet cow

Step five: Fly back home to whatever place you live

Step six: Think upon how lovely the scent of fresh cow is

Step seven: massage the cow so that it is relaxed while playing Mozart and Chopin type music at loud volumes. (less than 20db though).

Step eight: Take cow by body

Step nine: Prepare your mind...release all negative thoughts that do not apply to the cow.

Step ten: Chow down on the cow's skin. It will make both of you tougher in the long run.

The strength in your jaw has nothing to do with getting knocked out. It's the bone jarring crunch you receive that says "lights out" to your brain. It's like falling down and hitting her head, or being hit over the head with something. There are some people that can take it, and some that can't. I've never been socked in the jaw before, so I can't say that I could take it. Who knows.

It's not really in how you strengthen your jaw. If you get timed in the jaw, you will fall. It is a fact because your brain stem holds back causing dizziness and, therefore, you hit the canvass. I suggest you practice more on your defense. There is no way you can strengthen your jaw. Especially when you are fighting professionals. Practice how to bob, weave, parry, and counter. Remember, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

Work out to strengthen your neck muscles, tuck in your chin when fighting and learn to slip punches. Your jaw doesn't necessarily get stronger but you'll minimize the chance of getting ko'ed.

Lay on your back and let your head hang and do neck exercises in front, back and each side and your neck muscles will become stronger and will absorb the shots and will help you with the K.O. situation.
