Nobody even knew who your god was until around 1,800 B.C.E.... if your god is real, why did nobody believe in him for so long?
*i just tried to ask this, but worded it "where was your god" and got stupid answers, so do not tell me that he was there*

Supposedly people like Noah lived thousands of years prior to Jesus, communicated with God all their lives, which was some 900 years, and yet with all that communication with all those people, God never got through to them, which is really odd when you consider that after the flood only Noah and his family were left alive, thus surely all his descendants, everyone on Earth today, would logically believe in God...

When you ask about the "god" of christians you must be specific.
Some who call themselves christian be live Jesus is God, some be live he is part of the "godhead" (equal to but not h\the father) and some be live that the God of Christians is the same God the Israelites worshipped and is the creator of heaven and earth, known in the King James Bible at Psalms 83:18 as Jehovah.
As a Christian I follow Jesus and the God he worshipped which was the God of the Israelites Jehovah.
As a Christan I do not elevate Jesus to the same status as his father and God
You also mention a date of around 1800 BCE. There is very little written evidence of any kind much before that date. The Egyptians had their drawings on the walls but written as in the language of say Hebrew or Aramaic had not been around much before that time so no one could write of who they believed in. It was orally passed down The books of Moses are the oldest complete writings of any significance

How do you know that "nobody even knew our God until around 1800bc? Who told you that? Goodness, you are missing quite a bit of Biblical history. Why do you say that I should not tell you that He was there?
If He was there, shouldn't I tell you that He was there, or did ya want me to make something else up? If its cool with you, I'd like to choose my own words to answer with, just as you were free to choose the words you questioned with, fair enough?
The original Texts of the Bible are quite clear that everyone new God, even before Adam and Eve came on the scene. They are quite clear that there was an entire earth age before this one, and we were all living right here on good ol earth, and God ruled.
According to those writings, you knew God, too. But just speaking of this flesh age, you discount Adam and Eve, and all the other thousands of people that were created into the flesh at that time. All the races that were "created" on the 6th day of Genesis, knew God just as Adam and Eve did. So did their generations (their offspring) down t thru the years, and right up until today.
The short answer: they did know God.

The Book of "Job" is the oldest book in the bible, and they really seemed to talk alot about the character of God and know him really well in "Job", going back earler than this, man knew about God, but we only have recorded scripture on this as of "Job" onwards.
I think a gooderer question is, Do you know God?
Romans 19-21 says...
since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21 "For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened."
Good questions though, the more you ask, the more light that will be shed on the subject. I myself am still seeking to find out more.
Peace.

Hmmm...I read here once that Abraham got a diluted version of Akenaten's monotheistic 'idea' and the idea of a singular, male deity came from that. I wonder when the first mention of that particular character came about.

I am just curious as to how old you are? You obviously were alive since the beginning of the world in order to expound your allegations as fact.
Not that I believe that - but non the less, you gave no solid source for your claims. You made a claim, prove your claim.

Well since you don't believe in the bible then of course you are going to believe that garbage. But Adam and Eve knew God. God was known since the begining, but people have forgotten him. How sad.
