I want to find a restaurant to go to dinner in Washington D.C. that is dark inside. I don't care about the type of food. I am looking for somewhere relaxing without bright annoying lights.

The Old Ebbott Grill, Daily Grill, Sam and Harry's, ect. All have good food and are pretty low on the light factor.

The Sign of the Whale on M street.
Or Cafe Mozart on H street. It is not a deli, but a very nice restaurant. Just walk through the deli, through the bar, into the restaurant....
Both are great...
