Let me correct some errors in Clear Mascara's post.
"no" doesn't mean no. It has 2 basic meanings:
1). To or for: Example: He mele no ka lani = A
song for the chief.
2). An intensifying particle: So "aloha no"
means something like "goodbye indeed".
Finally, the song referred to in Clear Mascara's
post is "Aloha 'oe", which means "Farewell
to you".

We often say "Aloha No" and move our hands as if saying "come here" which is a very kind way of letting someone know they are very very welcome to come to us or come inside if they are outside. You might answer the door of your home and invite someone in by saying "Aloha No"..

Aloha 'oe is a way of saying "until we meet again" or "farewell"

Much depends on the context of how words are used.

well aloha means hello or goodbye, and no means no...

so it's either hello no... or goodbye no... neither of which mke much sense

however there is a song called aloha oh... could you have heard wrong perhaps??
