Yes, God is All Powerful and said; "I am who am."

There is nothing we can do without God's willing it.

And in a short lifespan we will all die and be judged by God. God's time is eternity. We only have Earth time and it is very limited. Our time should be used to brush up to the Lord that created us, and loves us.

We will be squealing when we find ourselves without God in our end time. How easy it is to be loved by God. How hard it is for some of his creation to believe in winning the lottery but not believing in a true win:God the Omnipotent Lover. He created us and our spirit, and even sent his son Jesus, to save us. Because some of his subjects don't believe we still are struggling with an Omnipotent God. It is never too late to believe and God loves you because you are the only model of YOU that he made and you are fine and exquisite!

yes, God has the power to destroy all and create all. i think the most powerful people or Beings in this case are merciful. and God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son so that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.(john 3:16)

Yes God is all- powerful but not in a way we are use to seeing powerful people. Powerful people use their power to get what they want. God is Love and the power of love invites one to participate in God's love. True love does not force its way upon other.

No. God (as described by Christianity) is not omnipotent. He is limited, needs you to have faith, is arrogant, unsure of himself, has no power over Satan, and can't seem to stay consistent throughout history. The god (higher power, supreme deity, creator) that I believe in has never been described in a religion nor can it be, is everything, everywhere, and all powerful, and doesn't need you to believe in it.

No, Satan is. God doesn't seem to be able to control him and they can't both be omnipotent.

How can he be all powerful if humans can succumb to the will of Satan? He couldn't even prevent Eve from eating an apple!

No.

If god(s) is Omnipotent then why can't he do something about the homeless, the kids that are starving?

or every person that is being mugged right now?

either he is evil and wont, or he cant and is therefore NOT omnipotent.
