The claim is that Jesus was married to Mary Magdellin and that they had a son, Judah. They also state that there is no evidence of ressurection and even that the shroud was fabricated 1000 years after Christ's death!

it will rock the foundation of the religion and leave many baffled. but devout Christians will ignore this even with hard core evidence and hold on to the "truth" churches will continue to pass around the collection plate and all will be well. Why wouldn't Jesus have had a wife and children? That's just dumb talk.

The bozos who took this straight to the media without a proper presentation to the scientific community sought to destroy the faith of many. In so doing they ignored the evidence and went with their own ideas which were based on "want this to be the case".

They did not take into account that Jesus (Joshuah/Yeshuah), Mary, Martha and a whole slew of other names were very common to the era. You could find all kinds of name combinations.

They did not take into account that they in fact rushed to judgment on the name inscription on the suspected (so called) Jesus osuary. There were several name scratched into the box over the years. You see, the dead's bones were placed into boxes, names inscribed, and after a period they the bones were removed and given proper burial. Other's bones were used in those boxes and names inscribed as well. In this case the Osuary's name was not clearly legible.

FACT: There is no way for them to test DNA evidence. They have no known source in which to gather and compare it. After 2000 or even 1000 years, unless bones are stored in pristine condition, the DNA is not usable.

There are tonnes of scientific methodology that the claimants ignored in making their documentary and it was all based purely on what they wanted it to be -presenting it as fact, when no such fact could ever be established.

The Biblical record of Jesus resurrection and ascension into heaven can not be factually dismissed. It can only be that of a person's opinion. Just because a person has the title of Professor and has a PHD or other doctorate does not make his opinion a fact. Never has.

Even athiest in the scientific community who would love to disprove everything about Jesus, have balked at these findings by those jokers. They dismissed the findings as wreckless and unscientific.

Even CNN claims it's a hoax. Lots of people at that time named Jesus. How can we (the Christians) be the Bride of Christ if He already had a bride. He spent 3 years of intense study with teaching his disciples how to lead others and teach them the way they were taught. He didn't have time for a wife....and have you ever heard any rumor or any thing about Mary saying why are you spending all your time with those 12 men, I want you to spend some time with me.....At least one of them would have said something.

As for the shroud of Turin. A friend of mine spent some time with the scientist that studied it.....they were 99.9% sure it was from Jesus. Because of that 0.1% they couldn't say 100%.

You aren't Rip Van Winkle, are you? Been asleep for 27 years?
That 'find' happened in 1980. The archaeologist that discovered the artifacts in question said that it was not Jesus. Another student over there said that even the report of the name was false. What's next? You may find out that an attempt was made on President Ronald Reagan's life !

Well the tomb was found a long while ago, I think 20 years. Not sure. It seems like the guy that found it just wanted to get some money and sold the story.

No, Archaeologists DON'T claim to have found Jesus bones, james Cameron does. IF Archaeologists find Jesus' bones, it will be blasted everywhere and WON'T come from a Hollywood director.

IF it were true, then Christianity is a hoax. as for proof of the resurrection, there were over 500 eyewitnesses of the risen Lord. That's good enough for any court in the world.

The shroud probably is a fake, but all that proves is that he wasn't buried in that shroud.

If I were to produce a fake murder weapon for the assassination of JFK, would that mean that he wasn't really assassinated?

SHEEEESH, skeptics can't even think straight.

Christianity is based on our daily relationship with the Living Christ. It is the same thing as telling us that our Dad does not exist because they found some grave with the same name as his. I just spoke with him.
By the way. The odds of that being the bones of Christ Jesus are astronomic.

I see Satan is busy again. This lie is from Hell, pure and simple. Jesus was not married to Mary M, did not have children. Why do I know this? Its nowhere in the Bible. His Resurrection is, try all four gospel accounts, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

When Gallileo said that the Earth revolves around the sun, when scientists first reported that there were other planets, that lightning was only electricity, that floods and earthquakes and hurricanes were natural phenomena and that fossils were millions of years old, it had NO EFFECT on Christianity.

Why should proof that there was no Christ be any different?
