You won't join any of them. They will ask you to join if you prove yourself worthy. They all are the best for what they do.

Ok Ace, first you have to join the regular armed forces. Second, you usually have to have certain time in service-2 years at least. Third, you must be officer level intelligence, regardless of your age or rank. You need to be able to do the right thing at the right time. Fourth, in peak physical shape. Fifth, you need to be accepted into the selection process where you will be tested to your breaking point, physical and mentally. Rambo/Schwarzenegger types don't usually make the cut. Special Ops is all about intelligence and teamwork. Don't think it will be a cake walk because it won't. You really have to want to be there.
I spent some time in Army SF and have worked with both AF and SEALS. All have their different type of strengths. Army SF was older (average age 35), more mature, more methodical in tactics. SEALS are younger but seemed more stressed out but way more gung-ho. Air Force was a joke but it's way easier for the combat controllers to get all the cool schools-HALO, Dive, etc. Regardless, you will be working with the best America has to offer. This is not a decision to take lightly. Think long and hard and make a full commitment towards your goal. Mind over matter.

This is the easiest question to answer. U.S. Army Special Forces.
They get the best training, they are the most mentally tough and smartest. But depending on what you want to do other special operations may better suit you (SEALs, Marine Recon, Rangers, PJ). Each have different missions, as in different things they are trained to do.
But first I would worry about joining and then look into special operations as many are a lot easier to get into (getting past the test) if you've been in that respective branch for awhile.

Well, I would have to say the seals are the best. You would have to go through some hard training such as BUDS which is basic under water demolition seal training and if you didnt know SEALS stand for Sea Air and Land. And usually use stealth tactics. For example they would go into a submarine and from one of their dingy boat things there would be a rope dropped they would exit the sub and climb up the rope to get to the boat. Then before reaching shore about 2 miles out they would fire a bunch of weapons to intimidate the enemy to make it sound like their is a bunch of men comming to attack. But then they get to shore and stealthly kill their enemys from there. So yes I would say the SEALS are the best.

Since they don't do the same job, there can't be any one test. It depends on what you want to do. If you want to chat with the locals in theri own language, join the Green Berets. If you don't like combat all that much, join the airforce pilot rescue team. If you a bit fitter than your counterparts and don't like tight spaces or scuba diving, join the airbourne rangers rather than the SEALS. Delta Force is an anti-terrorist unit although i don't think their training is much above a police SWAT team. SEALs is probably the hardest physically to get into, but they are more stealth than an offensive unit.

They are all good the question you need to ask is how long do I want to train for what I want to do each service has different amount of times for training and you have to be really good to even be considered.

In the end, it doesn't matter which branch you join, but, whether or not YOU are any good. The US has joint operations constantly.
