John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

-And this is what Jesus did! Do you understand why Jesus had to lay down HIS life for our sins? Because without being renewed, washed clean, born again of the Spirit of God, we could not enter into the kingdom of Heaven---(John 3:3)
And it is only through the shedding of blood that sins are forgiven- and we have all sinned against God- as Romans 3:23 says. The wages of sin is death -Romans 6:23 But JESUS died and rose again, defeating death, so that we who believe and repent of sin, would have eternal life in Him, and not only that, but He gives us a greater peace, and a greater JOY! He fills us with truth, through His Holy Spirit, and leads us into truth as we study His wonderful word. There is absolutely NO greater love, than the Love of Jesus Christ! He took our place...our punishment, and we should be praising and glorifying Him! He deserves all the praise and Glory!

Romans 5:8-9 8but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

-How wonderful and awesome our God is! Thank you Jesus!

jesus of nazareth has nothing on my love for my son, sweetie. nothing. you wanna see sacrifice? have a child of your own...there is nothing you won't do to protect them.

i know parents that have gone without eating so their children can have food. i once met a mom who lifted a car off her child, after she was run over. the mom spent months in the hospital after. childbirth, alone, is one of the scariest and challenging things.

i would not only die for my son, but would kill anyone who tried to harm him....and do the time joyfully.
