In a sense he is Catholic but he is an Anglican priest who I respect as much as any Catholic or Orthodox priest

Father K is intelligent, kind, witty, all of the things I aspire to. He is able to give excellent knowledgable answers without being cruel or putting people down. High five, Father K!

The Anglican church is based not only on scripture, but also tradition and REASON. Like a three-legged stool. Anglicans are encouraged to think and to question (at least the Episcopalian brethren are in the USA).
So what you end up with is a very well educated priest who is used to looking at more than one side to an issue; and doesn't automatically go into a discussion thinking that his answer is the only correct answer.

You are absolutely RIGHT. I believe that Father K has everyone's respect on here because he is the type of person who gives his respect to each and every one of us. I certainly respect him. He can get me to say "amen" because he promotes peace, lovingkindness and good will to ALL.. which is exactly what Jesus preached according to the bible.
He has EARNED our respect because he gives it. We may not agree with him philosophically but we will defend him no matter what, because he truly shows the love of christ within him.

Father K is one of the best representatives of Christianity on this forum. I don't always agree with his answers, but he does have my respect.

You give respect, you receive respect. He doesn't give ignorant answers. He doesn't ask ignorant questions. He's not insulting or judgmental. He's actually worth listening to, whether or not you agree 100%.
