Hello. Photography is my passion and so I'll share my thoughts with you. As for the first, I like the composition and the colors... but I'd change it a bit. My very first thought was that it would've been better without the tree, or at least perhaps change the angle. Then I thought it's alright yet it would've been nice to have a tree with less smaller branches. As for the second image, I liked the colors of the background and the flower... but it looks like the image was taken or scanned upside down. Aside from that, I would've made it symmetrically balanced since it's the only thing in it... unless the flower was zoomed in on to take up more space in the image giving it more dominence... like Georgia O'Keefe would've done. I'd say keep working on it, don't be afraid to experiment, and then examine them to see what's working well and what's not... to glean input for the next time. I do that with my own images as well as others I see on magazines and the like. It's a thing to cultivate an eye to photograph better... to see more than most see with the eye. Good luck and don't stop!

Silhouette Shot: Shooting into the sun is not easy, and you were able to successfully make a silhouette with the foreground subject blacked out. Overall, it is a nice composition resembling a flooded street, disturbing yet peacefully surreal. Be careful not to look into the sun when composing...not good for your retinas...it might not also be good for your camera sensor.
Flower shot: good contrasting colors. Focus can use some improvement but you might already be at the close-up limits of your lens. The shot seems a bit underexposed. For lighting, I would recommend some sort of reflector or white board to balance out the dark area on the top...but not so much as to eliminate the shadow. The shadowing textures on your fabric is good to keep.
Keep up the good work!

Hi! I can see you have some raw talent for photography. I like the first one, though it could use an application of the "rule of thirds". (Google it. It will be one of the most important concepts you'll ever learn when taking GREAT pictures.)
For the second one, it could probably use more vibrancy. It looks a little too dreamy, considering the flower looks so fresh with all the water droplets. Oh, and angling is key. Aside from that, it is a great concept and great color scheme.
You've got what it takes. Try to read more about photography. :)

The first is impressive. Excellent composition, good use of light - very interesting. It is "good"
The second....I don't know. Flowers are boring unless they're really well done. This one is not that interesting and in fact, it looks like the shallow DOF got the better of you throwing some of it out of focus. It's a good attempt, but in my opinion..."not good"
The first one proves you have an eye...so keep at it!

The first one is a confusing mish mash with no focal point and the horizon is crooked.
The second could benefit from some contrast and levels adjustment.
If you like them, that's what matters. Keep on shooting and improving, and do it because you enjoy it!
