I'm using Word 2002 for a 30 page report. If I edit one page, it throws off the spacing of following pages, as if I'm editing all one big long page! Its really annoying to be cutting and pasting, and then have to go fix the next pages so they look right again. How can I "break" up the pages so that when I edit one, the rest aren't affected?

Well, you can insert page breaks by clicking Insert, then Break, then page break. But, let's say you do this between page 1 and 2. Then, you add a long paragraph to page 1. What will happen is Word will create a new page between the two pages to accommodate the excess on page 1. So, now you'll have your orginal page 1, then the spillover on new page 2, then the old page 2 will now be page 3.

What I'd suggest is you do all your cutting/pasting/editing and at the end, when you've got the text story the way you want it, then you go and clean up the presentation of each page.
