evertime i sing a song by myself i get tears. Why??????????

People may tear up while singing if they're putting a lot of emotion into the song or if the song sets off some strong emotion in the singer. The singer could also be experiencing some pent-up emotions inside which are released by the moment of singing by his/her lonesome.

Singing a song is an outburst of emotion. To let yourself go when singing is an out of body experience. It's fun and empowering. I've teared up while singing!

because, the song either makes you feel sad or happy.
