aparantly some are flying about wild but i dont believe it. have you seen any ?

there are quite a few of these in the trees and fields behind my house,I live in Addiscombe,in Surrey,they are not as much trouble as the newspapers reported yesterday,we really only hear them when they fly over,its really nice to see them on our bird feeders,they do seem to be doing very well in this country though,

I have seen them in Boreham Wood north of London. They are Rose-ringed Parakeets, originally from India. I believe there are also Monk Parakeets in and around London, which were originally from Argentina. Neat birds!

but there used to be a parrot in the trees at the bottom of my friends garden in portsmouth. back in the 80's that is.

just realised i am getting old.
