You know... I gave up trying to constantly get people to understand.
If you're angry, you are probably angry for a damn good reason ... Or in the very least one that makes sense to you. most people are really fuc*king cruel.
I was a very angry person... for a very long time. When you are angry, it is rather obvious and as you get older, you learn to conform, you learn to hide, you learn to cope to get by...
I have hurt more people, not meaning to, with no real malicious intent in my heart... but people don't understand, people don't offer it or even care to see past the how to get to the why. Which makes you angry all over again.
I have a theory... People hurt others... To show someone how they are feeling inside first hand. I believe that spatially oriented people do it more than others, right brainers, feeling intuitive people... deep thinkers, sensitive people... Are angry people.
Some people teach by example. They show how they are feeling and therefore wear their heart on their sleeve for the world to either ignore or take aim at... Basically, when you are angry... you lose right out of the gate, give yourself away and everyone will always win... They will always beat you because you have shown them your thumbscrew and people always hit the weak before the strong.
eventually you give up looking for compassion, for understanding and you either completely conform and lean how to act and bury the anger deep inside just to cope... Or you get sick of being hateful and hurt and learn how to get over it.
I learned how to get over mine and I found that even when you are not angry... No one understands, no one really cares and no one wants to try.
Now days there is an expenditure, an involvement that no one wants, no one has the time for. I learned to forgive... It honestly was, the only thing that helped me. You have to... Not for their benefit. But for yours. So that you can know some peace in your heart.
(I am not trying to be religious) God told man to forgive... not for the man he offended. Not at all for his benefit for each and every man is responsable for and accountable for his own actions. He asked you to forgive... so that your own anger doesn't destroy you.
Anger is like a tiny little creature, scared and frightened, confused and threatened... that grows huge and rears up to attack anything that comes near it.
Rage and fear are the very same thing. I hope you understand?
Good luck to you!
It is a long hard road and you are at an impasse.

It isn't healthy. Practice for 20 mins, daily, the method at http://www.selfhelpmagazine.com Meditation room; try it out; mantra meditation; repeat the word: "easy", or gaze at a lighted candle in a quiet, darkened room. Tai Chi & yoga suits others. Avoid heavy metal, rap, and even loud rock music, at least until you have this problem well under control, and stop experiencing those things that trigger your feelings of anger, to the extent that you reasonably can. Whenever you start to become angry, count backwards from 10 to 1, or repeat in your mind your chosen word or short phrase.

I can say anger if uncontrolled can ruin your life---and may cause other health issues...
Try to find humor in daily life------
LAUGHTER is a great medicine.
Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.
Sing like nobody's listening.
Live like it's Heaven on Earth.

Can you function? Do you have friends? If yes, your anger is prob. ordinary (world isn't fair and all that). But if you feel your anger is affecting your life, it might be a health problem.
