i think its a great idea
why should non smokers who don't want their health ruined by 2nd hand smoke have to put up with it
smokers can smoke in their cars or go outside away from the doors and still have their rights, but that way they are not intruding on others

I am a smoker and, I think it is an excellent idea for public places such as malls, restaurants, government facilities, etc...
I think a true bar is only going to suffer. Let's face it, even non - smokers sometimes indulge when they go out to party!
I live in a state that is, in 39 days, going to enforce the law that was passed. We are too close to a state that does not have the law. I am afraid these businesses are going to suffer greatly to the businesses so close that allow smoking.
While I understand the dangers of second-hand smoke, I do think we could put such great efforts to better use.
Homeless, child abuse, drug addicts, murderers, factories pumping toxic fumes in the air, NO SEAT BELTS ON SCHOOL BUSES!
Seriously though, the general public should not be exposed to smoke. A bar is an entity of its' own :-)

I think it is a good idea ... bars maybe not so much but restaurants and governments sure... it is rude to smoke in the same bldg where a family is trying to eat with thier kids. And we all know the government does what they want ;P

Fine by me. You'll get arguments thought from gullable people who think they have a right to smoke where ever they wish, NOT. Its not a right, its a privledge just like many other things they think are rights but are not.
