My right ring finger has a bumb on it, on the inside. It also is bending more than normal. I've compared it to my other finger and my left hand doesn't bend like that one and doesn't have a bumb there. The bumb is more pointy than round. You can only slightly tell that it's there if your not touching it, but the area around it is red... It just popped up, but i'm not sure exactly when. My finger is also a little sore, this only just happened and it only just started hurting(it's only like a small pang)

Is this anything to be alarmed about??

you should put some onitment on it and give it a few days to see if it goes away, i wouldn't be too worried about it unless it is extremely painful then you should go see your doc.

You have a bone cyst/tumor/spur, rheumatoid arthritis, or a mucous cyst. Get it checked.
