Are Special Forces in any or all the branches of the military only for men? Not that I'm thinking about it...just trying to distinguish the myths from truth as far as the military goes.

As mentioned before, they do permit women to work in support roles as part of the unit. Of course it also depends on the branch of the military. Marine Corps does have women supporting Recon, but there aren't many women in the Corps compared to the others whose bootcamps and physical standards lag behind.

yes and no. Each service has different versions, not all branches call them special forces either. The navy calls them Special Warfare, and the seals are strictly for males. Things like diver, and EOD are for both sexes

All Special Operations Forces (SOF) only allow men to serve in forward combat roles. You can still work with the SOF community in terms of providing logistics and operational intel support.

No. The special forces is a combination of any soldier that's had at least 4 years active duty and has been payed hazardous duty pay. They also have to pass serious requirements to be excepted.

mostly all special forces on the ground are men , there commanders and other personnel who work with them can be women and some are , however I don't believe they can be special forces .

Special Forces (Army) is only for men. Only for the ultra hooah, not for me though

well for most yes, but navy has special jobs that include navy seal, swcc, and eod. but eod can be female.
