The above advice sounds good on the whole, BUT you shouldn't rub the dogs nose in it's crap or wee. This can injure it. A dogs nose is much more sensitive than ours and it's going to smart (to say the least).

If you had a baby you'd put a nappy on it, until it was old enough to start to learn to use the potty. Its the same with pups! Don't let them un around the house unsupervised, use a stairgate to keep it in the kitchen or use a playpen or puppy crate! It works becuause pups live in a den, and have an instinct that tells them not to go in their bed. So that help teach them to hold it in, then you take them out and praise them for going in the right spot.
Put some paper on the toilet spot outside and take her there on the hour every hour, have her on the lead, wait until she goes then reward her. She'll get the message that ''this is the spot where you go'.
Its up to you to be consistant and patient. Meanwhile, stop using paper indoors.

We have a puppy of 6 months and i can empathise we cracked it by about 10 weeks. We ignored any accidents in the house and praised him when he made it to the papers. They do advise that as soon as the dog wakes take him straight outside and leave him until he pees. But bear in mind a dogs bladder does not gain full control until 6 months. accidents will still happen. Do not shout at the dog because this will only make him do it out of your sight. Wiping their nose in it is a big no no. It does get better i promise we thought we were going to crack up if we had any more accidents to clean up. good luck

Well i dont advice using paper as this confuses the puppy, they think its ok to go indoors.Take her out every hour or 2 hours and wait outside with her untill she go's,then praise wildly when she does.If you catch her indoors [which you will]simply pick her up say no loudly and firmly and put her outside with the command 'outside'.Be patient as she is still very young, with consistency it can be acheived in a few short weeks.Good luck.

You will have to take her out side quite a lot,try giving a command to wee,and point. You will have to do this many times..When your puppy responds make a fuss.you will just have to have patience, that's why it's called training.
Put papers down for the night, gradually working them toward the door. She is very young, and perhaps doesn't understand what 's required of her.Give it time, they all get trained eventually.

Say no whenever you catch her in the act, which should be every time because you should keep her on a leash and know what she's doing at all times in the house. No may not work so well, so making some unpleasant sound may work better. "Nyeeeeeeeeeeeet" is sort of what I make. It's a noise, so hard to spell, but it works better than any stern "no" I've been able to manage.

Time to solve your problem!
First of all dogs do NOT like to crap where the lie. So...you need to purchase a common training tool called a crate.
Just a portable cage that a dog would lay in is all it is.
Make sure it is a good one that is capable of adjusting to the dogs size.
You can get them at any pet store and even buy them on line.
When he or she is inside for a length of time you let them out and rush them to the door to do their business outside.
After a while they will realize they have to go outside. If they do it on the floor stick their nose in it and firmly yell "NO!"

Don't punish the dog unless you catch her doing it. When you see her doing it pick her up, tell her "NO!" and take her where she should be going potty. They usually have a pre-ritual they do when they are going to pee, just watch her constantly when she is free in your home. When she does go outside or on the newspaper, praise her lavishly and give her a treat.

Try crate training...When you are not able to watch her...keep her in a crate...as soon as you take her out of the crate..put her in the yard...spot where you want her to "do her business"...and praise her with everything you got when she does!

If you don't have a crate then keep her tied to you...so that you don't have to run after her and she can't wonder off...take her outside often..and again praise her when she goes...when she goes inside? use a stern almost "growl" and say NO! Do not rub her face in it..! Take her outside and praise her if she goes...BE CONSISTANT!!!
