He says he does not like her.
She and I were at his house last winter and my boyfriends daughter believed my friend, who is getting married was messing with her husband.
I have known her for years and we were together the whole evening and she was not messing around with her husband.
The daughter also accused me of thinking my boyfriend was cheating with another woman. The daughter did not know this womans brother was a patient in the hospital where I work and we chit chatted every day and I never thought anything about her. I took care of him and discharged him to home.
The daughter is a trouble maker and causes trouble all the time. She is 26 yrs old and no body is interested in her hillbilly husband. She managed to get my boyfriend in a fight with his best friend of the last 15 yrs. He was his totally best friend and she said he hit on her. She is such a skank.
Should I just forget he doesnt want to go to the wedding or what>

Go to the wedding alone. It sounds like your boyfriend is very close with a drama queen (i.e., meddling daughter) and he REALLY values her piece of mind. That is fine but when she adversely affects your relationship with her lies then that is a problem. Based upon what you just stated in your question, I think you should find someone more mature and able to make decisions and judgement for himself. Who knows, you may meet someone new at the wedding.

Honestly, I feel like he should attend the wedding with you. I mean, if he keeps insisting that he doesn't wanna go, then fine. That is not a valid reason for you not to attend your friends marriage. But you two are in a relationship, that means working out problems and coming to a agreeable solution. That means him giving in sometimes, and sometimes you giving in. And if that means him attending the wedding to be very important to you, then I would suggest you let him know it's important to you and that you believe that he should try to meet you your way this time. PS.: Remind him how much fun weddings can be, and what kinda mood it puts a girl in usually ;-) (w/all the wine/champagne... plus he'll have good food lol )

There should be a reason unless there is unknown problems between her and your boyfriend...the first thing before I even opened and read was...OOH girl friend and boy friend had an affair. Your boyfriend is staying out of the way for a reason. I would get to the bottom of it if it was my friends. Something isn't right. Sounds like someone is playing you according to what you wrote

If your boyfriend doesn't want to attend the wedding, then you gotta let him make his own decisions! Even though it really does suck that he doesn't want to....but not getting upset and yelling it will show him the great respect you have for him. Go, cheer on and support your friend, and go home to your loving boyfriend. End of story, good luck!!

Dump your moron boyfriend, go to the wedding and find someone decent. Maybe give the daughter a punch in the nose too for being a slapper

I would just go by yourself and not be worried about what he is doing. Just because he is your current boyfriend doesnt mean that he has to be with you all the time and go everywhere you do. That is your friend. Go celebrate with her on her special day and ignore everyone who is being a naysayer....

Go without him. If he wants to get caught in the DRAMA then let him, if he won't come to compromise. Have fun!!!
