Does a relationship ever work out if the girl asks the guy? Anyone been in a relationship like that? Most of my friends say it doesn't work but i don't see why not if both people like each other. Guys (no offense...) don't normally have the backbone to ask girls out, at least at my age (teen) so why not girls?

I think it could work its really no different if the girl askes. personally I like it if the girl asks because it shows she isn't afraid to go after what she wants.

Your friends have no clue what they are talking about. Why would a relationship end when a woman initiates it? For some men, the woman taking the reins brings a sigh of relief since the pressure comes off of them for a change. I still have no idea why so many girls and women think it's all up to the males to do all the work. :)

i know of a situation where the couple met outside to do some work, went to lunch , went back to finish work, went for dinner to "discuss work" and then just regulary started going out together more and more often and are accepted as a couple.... no one really said "date" but instead both knew it was implied
yea - girls can ask guys out - why not? no, there's no jinx, but some guys feel like they're not the "man in charge" anymore

There's no reason it shouldn't work out just because of who asked whom out. It's all about the other stuff--maturity, compatibility, and all that jazz
