Jesus came the 1st time to earth in order to sacrifice his life so that ours would be saved. By going home, he opened the gates of heaven for his followers.
Jesus will come a 2nd time to take with him all those that have followed in his teachings and have faith in his Father. After he takes them, all those not deemed worthy will be marked by the sign of the beast (666?), and will remain on earth during it's apocalypse.
Or something along this line.
You can check out the Book of Revelation for more info about his 2nd coming.

The Bible says that the first coming of Jesus was perfectly timed. The 2nd coming will be also.

It was premature cos the b@stards killed him.

He didn't come here to die for our "sins". He came to show us how to love each other and be of service to each other. The most perfect blameless man to walk the earth (and he did come here as a man as well as being divine).

And the b@stards murdered him.
