On live shows such as on the Food Network, the food is shared by the audience and then the crew. On the shows where there is no audience the crew eats it and when there is food left over it is donated to soup kitchens to feed the hungry.

JK it's usually given to the guests (some shows have special guests that sit at the counter and try everything).

yeah i think they give food to the people behind the cameras or they just throw it away which is a waste of good food

I used to work in television, and generally the TV crew gets to eat it. (Cameraman, sound guy, floor director, etc)

Idk Im guessing somebody gonnas eat it. Most likely the people in the audience lookin like they never saw a good meal in their lives.
