This is going to sound so weird but I tried it once and I love- buy Pringles and melt chocolate and dip and Pringles in the chocolate. It's so good!!!!!! But, very addictive.

My friend puts the sauce in...well, actually he uses whatever is handy. Usually the little containers that you use for ketchup at Mickey D's.
He doesn't want his chip slathered with sauce. He dips once a mouthful.

I mix mayo and hot sauce together and use that for a dip. Or refried beans, not the grocery store crud!

Thats fine, but I like the vinigar and salt solution. That with a big piece of cod makes a good meal. I hope you are refering to what the yanks call fries and not crisps?
