That often happens me around allergy season. You may want to have you doctor check for a respiratory or sinus infection. However its probably just the time of year that is making your breathing difficult. You may have an allergy to pollen or dust and the counts may be high right now. Even if you have not had allergies in the past, they may develop at any time. It's still worth checking with your doctor about. If you don't want to go into your doctor's office, many insurance carriers have an "ask-a-nurse" option where you can call a hotline and ask a nurse about your symptoms. Good luck!

I think I know the feeling you're talking about. You should probably go to the doctor, because it could be bronchitis or the beginnings of a respiratory infection. In either case, it's better to treat it early so it doesn't turn into pneumonia or something. On the other hand, considering the time of year, it may just be allergies. The doctor could help you with that, too.

Do you feel like its kind of hard to breathe? is that it? i feel that way a lot. I get short of breath and often feel like i cant breath. This is because my lungs are bad. If you smoke anything then it could be the cause of it. The only treatment for this would be consulting a doctor for medication

asthma or anxiety & it sounds like it could be either one of them ...

Different people have different signs and symptoms of asthma. Asthma signs and symptoms are also variable - they can change over time or depending on the situation. People with asthma often have one or more these symptoms:

Wheezing
Chest tightness
Coughing
Feeling short of breath
Breathing problems can be caused by different conditions. If you have these signs and symptoms, or if you think you might have asthma, see your doctor.

Anxiety:

Chest pain or discomfort
Concern about the heart
Feel like you have to force yourself to breath
Find it hard to breath, feeling smothered, shortness of breath
Frequent yawning to try and catch your breath
Heart – beating hard or too fast, rapid heartbeat, palpitations
Heart - Irregular heart rhythms, flutters or ‘skipped’ beats, tickle in the chest that makes you cough

Like stuffiness? Might be reactive airway, or asthma like symptoms. People don't need to have 'attacks' to have asthma.
