Is weight loss associated with murmurs?
She looks so frail.....awwwwwww

Shes on medication already. I take her for monthly checks and the vet just advised me to feed her 4 times a day. She has a good appetite........but still wont put weight on. Vet says her weight is ok for a whippet even though shes lost 2 kilos and is now only 10 kilos

whippets are not a sturdy looking dog. Are you giving the meds correctly? the dog needs to be seen by the dr who diagnosed it and your concerns should be addressed then.

i am in the USA so i do not how much a Kilo is in weight. but most whippets are on the thinner side. because they were built to run. just make sure that it is a high quality dog food. ask your vet if you are feed a good one

a heart murmur has nothing to do with weight loss take her for a check up at the vet it is something else

My dog had a heart murmur and she didn't loss any weight I would speak to your vet about this problem

weight loss isn't usually associated with murmurs. does she drink a lot as well? if so, it's possible she has diabetes, as this was the case with my jack russell. she has diabetes and she went down to 5.40KG, but she's now back up to 6.75KG with the help of insulin and the right food!

I had a maltese with a heart murmur and he didnt loose any weight, but it could have just been him. Im really not sure...

poor wee soul....use google and find out the side effects and conditions associated with murmurs in dogs....and if you can see a vet....just for another check up....

has she been checked for worms?It could be stress if she's traipsing backwords and forwards to the vets if she does'nt like them.Get her back to the vets for a full check,the vet might of missed something.Hope she feels better soon,i've got 2 greyhounds and would be devastated if i lost them
